I Made Peanut Butter Chocolate Layer Cake
Soooooo this is not a recipe post…I used The Novice Chef Blog for this cake right here, so please go check it out if you wanna give it a try!
Both the cake and the frosting is delicious, but I did make my own ganache instead of the one in the recipe:
A 1/1 ratio (6 oz to 6 oz) of dark chocolate to heavy cream and I used the most classic method:
Heat up heavy cream over the stovetop. When it’s barely simmering, pour it over the chocolate in a bowl. Let it sit for 3-5 minutes. Whisk it all up. Wait until it’s warm instead of hot (about 5 minutes) and it’s ready to use for drip cake! Just do a test drip on the edge of something first to make sure it runs the way u want it to.
I also doubled up on the frosting in the recipe…is it just me or are the frosting amounts in online recipes never enough? Probably a me problem lessbehonest.
